The Lakers have finally dropped out of the play-in zone with a hopeless loss against the Mavericks (110-128). Los Angeles has been overtaken by the Spurs that moved to 10th place in the Western Conference.
After the Dallas game Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was asked how it feels to be out of the play-in tournament with seven regular season games left to play.
“The standings are the results, we have to keep our focus on the process and the work and the things that are going to lead to the next win,” he siad. “That’s the only place that our focus will be.”
