Lokomotiv Kuban’s Derrick Brown is reportedly interested in a move back to the NBA once his current contract ends in June.

However, despite playing in Russia, reports of Brown heading back to the States have come from Greek site Sport24.gr.

The 27-year-old forward from Oakland, California has enjoyed success since leaving the NBA for Kuban on a three-year deal in 2012. Brown won the Eurocup and was named into the all-Eurocup second team in 2013.

Before his move to Russia, Brown was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats (now Hornets) with the 40th overall pick in the 2009 NBA Draft, he  played a total of 171 games, averaging 5.2 points and 2.4 rebounds in his three-year career in the league.

And now, as Brown averages 15.4 points and 5.2 rebounds a game in the Eurocup and 15 points in the VTB League, he feels that the time might be right to give the NBA one more crack.
