Ja Morant continues making progress since his debut in the NBA three years ago. This season the 22-year-old point guard is averaging 27.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. While last year his numbers were 19.1 points, 4 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game.

According to NBA analyst Ric Bucher, Morant has a better chance than Steph Curry to be the next face of the NBA, especially because of his athletic ability.

“He has a better chance than Steph Curry who never became the face of the league. Ja has a dynamic aspect to his game and that’s why I believe he has a chance to be something Steph Curry was not,” Bucher said on UNDISPUTED.
