The Lakers are on a three-game losing streak after a narrow loss against the Warriors (115-117). The purple and gold had a six-point lead later in the fourth quarter and came close to winning but were unable to hold the advantage.

Despite the loss, Lakers head coach Frank Vogel was satisfied with the effort that he saw from hi players in this game. “This one definitely hurts,” he said.

“We were up six with few minutes to play. But overall I love how our guys competed. We have a chance if we get these guys to be able to stay healthy and get some more time together to continue to grow. There’s a lot positives tonight.

“We play like this down the stretch and keep getting better and better, we want to be playing our best basketball as we get into the playoffs. I was proud how our guys competed. Just a couple bad bounces down the stretch couple of plays offensively that we had a great situation that we didn’t capitalize on. Disappointed to lose a game but overall proud of how we played.”
