LeBron James could make his return to action on Saturday, as the Los Angeles Lakers host the New York Knicks.

The four-time NBA champion has missed the past five games, as he is dealing with soreness in his left knee (swelling). However, the Lakers are hopeful he will return vs New York.

According to Dave McMenamin of ESPN, LeBron James will work out pregame. If he is ready to return, the coaching staff will give him playing time.

The Lakers (25-28) will seek to return to the winning track, following their road loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday (112-111).
