Dwight Howard missed four games due to the health and safety protocols. He last played against the Orlando Magic. Los Angeles Lakers backup coach provided an update on the status of the veteran center ahead of the game against the San Antonio Spurs.

“He got a sweat in today. Right now going into it I think he’ll be ready for us tomorrow hopefully,” Fizdale said. “I don’t want to put full stamp on that but right now going into it we’re hoping that he will be available. We’ll be really happy to have him back.”

The former number one draft pick is averaging 5 points and 5.4 rebounds in 15.1 minutes per game for Los Angeles this season.
