Stephen Curry is two steps away from breaking Ray Allen’s record for most three-pointers made in NBA history.
Curry went for 26 points and five three-pointers (5/15) in the Warriors’ 102-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday. As a result, he helped his team return to the top of the West (22-5), tied with the Phoenix Suns (21-4).
In addition, he is just one three-pointer away from tying Allen’s record (2972 to 2973) and two from making league history and breaking it.
The All-Star guard will have the chance to pass Ray Allen on Tuesday, when Golden State faces the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. For his part, Stephen Curry is not worried about reaching this milestone and knows it will happen very soon.
