Monaco parted ways with Zvezdan Mitrovic and are in search for a new head coach, the team announced on Monday.
Mitrovic and Monaco mutually agreed to part ways, as the team is struggling in the EuroLeague. They currently are 13th in the standings (5-9) and have lost their last five games.
Under the experienced head coach, the team claimed the 2021 EuroCup title and earned its ticket to the EuroLeague this season. This was Mitrovic’s second sting with the club, as he coach the club from 2015 to 2018.
Monaco has back-to-back road games this week in the EuroLeague, facing Zalgiris Kaunas (December 15) and ALBA Berlin (December 17), respectively.
