On the tenth match day of the easyCredit Basketball Bundesliga, FC Bayern Munich won in front of 2,500 fans at ALBA Berlin with 80-73 to remain at the top of the standings.

The Bavarians claimed their ninth win in the last 10 games. Nick Weiler-Babb scored 18 points on his birthday and not only made seven of his eight throws from the field, but also made the right decisions in crunch time.

He also added four rebounds, distributed three assists and made two steals. ALBA could not add to their winning streak and dropped to 6-4.

ratiopharm Ulm can breathe a sigh of relief after finally collecting their first home victory in the league this season, shrugging off a slow start to knock off Hamburg Towers 78-74. Thomas Klepeisz poured in 19 points to help Ulm move to 6-4.

The HARKO Merlins Crailsheim prevail in a one-sided derby against the MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg as they won 72-61 thanks to TJ Shorts’ amazing performance. The American guard had 22 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

The BG Göttingen still feels right at home in the upper half of the table. With a 91-90 victory in front of 1,413 spectators, they also managed a victory against SYNTAINICS MBC.

With an 82-75 home win against the JobStairs GIESSEN 46ers, Niners Chemnitz remained o playoff course. The  top scorer was Darion Atkins with 16 points for the winnning side.

Thanks to a strong final quarter, Medi bayreuth prevailed over Fraport Skyliners with 85-72 and celebrated their fourth win in a row.

Basketball Lowen Braunschweig wasted a 15-point fourth quarter lead but managed to beat s.Oliver Würzburg 87-86 on the road to snap a four-game losing streak.

Telekom Baskets Bonn remained in close contact with the top of the table, after securing an easy 87-70 win over MLP Academics Heidelberg. That was the fifth win in the row for Bonn. Skyler Bowlin was the leading scorer with 24 for the home side.
