Dallas Mavericks has been facing a tough stint in recent weeks after starting the season with a 9-4 record, before dropping nine out of their next 12 games.

During that stint, Luka Doncic seems to be a little bit off due to a right ankle issue. According to Marc Stein, Doncic will miss multiple games due to this ankle issue.

As of now, no official timetable has been set for Doncic’s return to the lineup. Doncic initially hurt his ankle on Nov. 15 in the waning seconds of a win over the Denver Nuggets.

He missed three games before returning to action and continued to put up big numbers. The pain in his ankle, however, hasn’t gone away.

The Mavericks medical staff clearly deemed Doncic unavailable, starting from the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night.

So far this season, the Mavericks are 0-4 without Doncic and 12-9 when he plays. Earlier this month, Doncic missed a game vs Memphis with ankle soreness.

Despite his poor conditioning and the injuries, the Slovenian wonderkid is still putting up 25.6 points, eight rebounds and 8.5 assists per game.
