As such, the latest update was given by TMZ Sports’ Michael J Babcock, wherein the four-time champion took 3 COVID tests to determine the positivity. Two of the three examinations have concluded that James is, indeed, positive in the virus and is currently asymptomatic in present condition.
As per league’s guidelines, James needs to be sidelined for at least 10 days or gain two negative test results within 24-hour timeframe in order to return to action in Lakers’ lopsided season.
No one knows what would be the outcome for the LeBron-less 11-11 Lakeshow in the following games. Another absence of the engine that drives the team for a competitive nature is surely a major blow — urging all parts within the purple and gold vehicle to have a “Next man up” mentality.
