The NBA officially announced the sanctions for the altercation between LeBron James and Isaiah Stewart in the Lakers – Pistons game on Sunday.
Both players got ejected from the game, while the altercation almost got into a fight. However, things didn’t get out of control and the game resumed after 15 minutes. The Lakers came back from a 17-point deficit and earned the 121-116 road win over the Pistons.
For his part, LeBron James will be suspended one game and Isaiah Stewart will be suspended two games for their roles in the altercation.
James will miss the game vs the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stewart will be out vs Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks.
