Trevor Ariza is not close to his season debut with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to head coach Frank Vogel.
As Vogel told reporters, Ariza is ‘ways away’ from his return to action, as he is recovering from a right ankle surgery. The veteran forward got injured in preseason and the initial timetable was eight weeks.
The return of Trevor Ariza will help the Lakers on both ends, with the 17-time NBA champions struggling in the first part of the season (8-9).
