UNICS Kazan and veteran forward Janis Timma reached an agreement for the next month, the team announced Monday.

The EuroLeague side has the option to extend contract until the end of the season. Timma spent two and a half seasons with Khimki Moscow.

He played 16 games in the 2020-21 EuroLeague, averaging 7.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, and one steal in 25 minutes. He will add more shooting and depth in UNICS’ rotation in the forward position.

UNICS sits at the 11th spot in the Euroleague with a 4-5 record. The Russian club is almost perfect in the VTB League with a 6-1 record.
