Carmelo Anthony was the second top scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers with 29 points as he came off the bench and played 37 minutes.

The 37-year-old forward made seven out of ten three-pointers providing a much needed boost for his team in a narrow overtime win against the Charlotte Hornets.

After the game, Russell Westbrook was asked about Anthony’s performance and what he brings to the team.

“He’s hell of a shooter, we all know that,” Westbrook said about Melo postgame. “He can score the basketball and our job is to be able to find him in transition when guys leave him open.. He’s doing hell of a job not just making shots but making big shots, timely shots and we need him to do so.”
