As explosive forward Pascal Siakam finally returned after recovering from a shoulder injury, Fred VanVleet believes that the whole Toronto Raptors squad needs to adjust on the one-time All-star’s presence.

After a 116-103 loss to the Brooklyn Nets, the scoring guard delivered his sentiments about Spicy P and the Raps.

“Everybody else is kind of affected by him coming back… He’s going to play heavy minutes and have the ball and he’s going to be a big part of the offence. So, offensively, I think it’s just finding our rhythm and spacing and the flow and learning how to play with Pascal.”

While it will be easy for him to work with Siakam as they are in the North since 2016, VanVleet said the team will take some time to be used with their current lead man inside the court.

“For me it was great. I missed playing with him. The other guys who were playing with him for the first time, there will probably be a little bit of a learning curve.”

Siakam had 15 markers, four boards, one dime, and two blocks in limited 25 minutes of exposure on the losing effort.

Raptors will travel to Boston for a duel against the Celtics on Wednesday.
