Zalgiris Kaunas is expected to part ways with Emmanuel Mudiay soon. The former Jazz and Nuggets player will be eligible to sign with another EuroLeague team in the second round of the competition, per Donatas Urbonas of Basketnews.com.

Mudiay averaged 7.4 points, 2.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.2 turnovers in five EuroLeague games. The former NBA player averaged 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists in the Lithuanian league.

He was the leading guard for Zalgiris in the first five EuroLeague games, but he got to a slow start due to a knee injury. The Lithuanian club has started the season 0-7 in the EuroLeague.

Zalgiris already added Zoran Dragic to its perimeter, the club announced on Oct.30.
