Talen Horton-Tucker is yet to play his first regular season game this year for the Los Angeles Lakers. The 20-year-old shooting guard injured his thumb during preseason and had to undergo a surgery.

Lakers head coach Frank Vogel provided an update on Horton-Tucker ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Houston Rockets.

“He got his stitches out,” Vogel said. “They’re hopeful to have him start doing some shooting tomorrow. But still on track with the timetable that we laid out a few weeks ago.”
