After winning two games in a row, the Los Angeles Lakers were dealt a blow by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Despite having a commanding 26-point lead early in the game, the purple and gold were unable to hang on to it.

James Worthy, who won three NBA championships as a Laker, jokingly suggested for his former team to use greyhound to travel back to Los Angeles after the loss in order to spend more time together and figure things out.

On a more serious note, Worthy did not take any excuses from the Lakers for the way they lost to the Thunder. “I know they’re going to say ‘it’s early, we have some things we need to work on.’ I don’t accept that. Not against Oklahoma and the way they played tonight,” he said on Spectrum SportsNet.
