Golden State Warriors claimed guard Jeff Dowtin off waivers, and converted his deal to a two-way contract, the team announced Monday.
Dowtin, 24, spent the 2021 preseason with the Orlando Magic, where he averaged 4.7 points, 1.3 assists and 8.7 minutes in three games.
He played for the Warriors in the 2021 California Classic Summer League, appearing for the ‘Dubs’ in two games. He spent last season as part of Lakeland Magic.
He helped the club to the 2021 NBA G League championship while averaging 6.5 points, 2.5 assists and 1.6 rebounds in 19.7 minutes over 15 games.
The Warriors’ roster stands at 16 players, after the addition of Dowtin.
