Tornike Shengelia will remain out of action for at least two months, CSKA Moscow announced Friday. The star forward suffered a shoulder injury during the latest EuroLeague game vs. Zenit.

He is going to be re-evaluated in mid-December. That’s a huge blow for CSKA, as the Russian club will also be missing its starting center Nikola Milutinov for at least two months.

The Georgian forward was coming off back-to-back MVP awards in Round 2 and Round 3 of EuroLeague. He was on MVP form starting his EuroLeague campaign with 21.0 points. 6.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per contest.

Marius Grigonis is also out injured, while newly signed Kenneth Faried  is not yet available for the team. Joel Bolomboy is expected to receive extended playing time after Shengelia’s injury.
