Indiana Pacers could have interest in acquiring Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Ben Simmons. ESPN’s Brian Windhorst called Indiana a ‘sleeper team’ in the Simmons’ sweepstakes.

The three-time All-Star has demanded a trade from Philadelphia and has yet to report to the 76ers training camp that started Monday.

The question is what the Sixers could receive for Simmons in a potential trade. The Pacers handed an unfortunate blow with Caris LeVert suffering a stress fracture in his back, while TJ Warren is still sidelined after missing the whole 2020-21 season.

The Sixers-Simmons rift seems to be unsalvageable, especially after Embiid put his co-star on blast during an interview Thursday, calling his absence borderline disrespectful to the rest of the team.

Simmons is reportedly willing to sit out the entire season, if the Sixers won’t trade him. The Pacers could be in need of another playmaker and Simmons may be the answer to their playmaking issues.
