According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, the Los Angeles Lakers are planning to sign two-way guard Austin Reaves to a new two-year contract. Reaves converted to a standard NBA contract, becomes the Lakers‘ 14th roster spot. The second year on his deal will be a team option. Reaves transferred from Wichita State to Oklahoma in 2018. As a senior, he averaged 18.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists in 34.6 minutes per game. The Lakers now have 14 guaranteed contracts and will leave the 15th open for the buyout market.
