Phoenix Suns are going to start their training camp Wednesday without superstar guard Devin Booker. Booker will miss the start of the training camp due to the league’s health and safety protocols, per Shams Charania.
The Suns are coming off a great season, where they reached the NBA Finals, losing to the Milwaukee Bucks in six games. Booker was a huge part of last season’s success for the franchise.
He averaged a team-high 25.6 points last year, leading the Suns to the 2nd seed of the Western Conference after they went 10 years without a playoff berth.
The Suns have their first preseason game scheduled for Oct. 4 against the Sacramento Kings.
