The Portland Trail Blazers are reportedly interested in having former Miami Heat and Los Angeles Lakers forward Michael Beasley for training camp. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, the team is keen on signing more forwards and Beasley is among their targets.

The Blazers were reported to have signed Patrick Patterson on Thursday and it’s understood Beasley could also land a non-guaranteed contract.

The former No.2 NBA Draft pick averaged 7.0 points and 2.3 rebounds a game in his last NBA season – with the Lakers – and, given that he played with the Blazers in Summer League last month, a deal makes sense for both parties especially as the organization would have nothing to lose.
