In a recent poll among NBA executives and scouts, the Los Angeles Lakers’ superstar LeBron James did not receive any votes for best player in the league.

According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Kevin Durant are considered the top players in the NBA for the next season.

Durant is an 11-time All-Star, four-time scoring champion and two-time NBA champion. In the 2020-21 season, he averaged 26.9 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. He also led Team USA to the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics Games, being named the MVP of the competition.

Giannis led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA title and posted some outstanding numbers along the way. He averaged 28.1 points, 11.0 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in the regular season.

LeBron missed several games this past season due to injury, while he was not exactly 100 percent ready to compete in the playoffs because of the injuries. Davis’ and LeBron’s injuries resulted in an early first round playoff exit for the Lakers.
