Danny Green, who has recently re-signed with the Philadelphia 76ers, admitted that he was a target of many teams before agreeing to remain in Philly. Reportedly, his former team, the Los Angeles Lakers, was among those interested in his services.

“A lot of (teams) wanted me, but they just didn’t have the money for it,” the 34-year-old small forward revealed, per Noah Levick. Green’s new contract with the Sixers is a two-year deal, $10 million per year.

This past season, the three-time NBA champion averaged 9.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
