Fenerbahce and Igor Kokoskov reached an agreement as the coach from Serbia will join the Dallas Mavericks. Kokoskov is en route to Dallas to become an assistant coach next to head coach Jason Kidd.
According to Eurohoops, there is no decision yet on his replacement by Fenerbahce. This will be the second stint of Kokoskov in the NBA after working as a head coach for the Suns in the 2018-19 season.
The veteran coach had assistant roles in various teams, such as the Clippers, the Kings, the Suns, the Cavs and the Magic, before returning to Europe for Fener.
