Vince Hunter has parted ways with Virtus Bologna, after violating anti-doping rules, the Italian team announced on Wednesday.
Hunter failed a drug test and tested positive for the banned substance Carboxy THC (a marijuana agent) after Game 4 of the Italian League Finals.
Therefore, Virtus decided to terminate his contract and Hunter has now officially become a free agent.
