Kevin Durant made a historic decision in 2016 by joining the 73-9 Golden State Warriors, with his time in the Bay Area being in the center of attention the last few hours after a recent conversation with media personalities.

Durant fired back at the notion that he did not like the fact Curry was getting more love than him. He also pointed out he never thought he wasn’t getting the support of fans, seeing fans wearing his jersey during games.

Durant’s stint with the Warriors was successful as he won two Finals MVP awards and helped the Warriors win two NBA titles against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Now, the Warriors are trying to contend again after their five consecutive runs in the NBA Finals between 2015 and 2019. They did not make the playoffs the last two seasons.

On the other hand, Durant is hoping to bring the first NBA title to Brooklyn alongside Kyrie Irving and James Harden. Several injuries held back the Nets this season, however with their superstar trio healthy, Steve Nash’s team will be in championship contention again next season.
