The Team USA-Australia scrimmage on July 16 in Las Vegas has been canceled due to health and safety protocols, according to Shams Charania.

Team USA will conclude its exhibition schedule against Spain on July 18.

Washington Wizards’ Bradley Beal was the first player to enter the protocols on July 14, followed by Detroit Pistons’ Jerami Grant on July 15.

Beal will be unable to participate in the Tokyo Olympic Games, while Grant’s status remains up in the air.

Grant did not test positive for COVID-19.

Team USA flies to Tokyo on July 19 before beginning their Olympic tournament on July 25 against France.
