2021 March Madness star guards Jason Preston and Max Abmas have made final decisions on their futures. Preston will enter the NBA Draft, while Abmas will return back to school for his junior season. Ohio University’s Preston averaged 15.7 PPG/7.3 RPG/7.3 APG/1.5 SPG and Abmas averaged 24.5 PPG/3.2 RPG/3.8 APG/1.5 SPG for Oral Roberts University in 2020-2021.
Both players are proven winners, proving just how much of a threat they can be in big games during this year’s NCAA Tournament when Preston had a near triple-double in a first round upset over Virginia and Abmas led his school to the Sweet 16 by scoring 25 points or more in the 3 game run. The two will now officially go in opposite directions, as the NBA Draft withdrawal deadline ended on July 7th at 11:59 PM.
