Bogdan Bogdanovic was a key factor for the Atlanta Hawks in their playoff run to the 2021 Eastern Conference Finals, as he averaged 14.1 PPG/4.2 RPG/2.9 APG/1.6 SPG in a starting role. Before his postseason success, Bogdanovic first had to go through difficult times at the beginning of the year when he dealt with injuries and trade rumors. The soon-to-be 29-year-old reflected on his first season in Atlanta after being eliminated in Game 6, saying that he’s “happy” about how things worked out.

“The craziest year by far in my career, for sure. So many thoughts, so many at the beginning especially, where I’m going to end up, what’s going to happen with my career, then I get hurt, then the trade deadline, my name was dropping all over the place. I’m proud of coming back off the injury I had and fighting for a spot back in the team, such a challenging year for me. At the end of the year, I’m happy with what I did. Not satisfied, just a little bit happy with how the year ended up for me.”
