Spencer Dinwiddie announced his recovery from a partial ACL tear by making a bold statement about his future. The 28-year-old point guard is set to hit free agency as his Instagram post indicates.

He has a player option for the 2021/2022 season but it seems Dinwiddie will not use it. “Welp, looks like the best FA point guard is ready,” he wrote on his IG post with a picture of himself.

Dinwiddie has been with the Brooklyn Nets since 2016. The 2019/2020 season has been his best so far as he averaged 20.6 points 3.5 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.
