Andre Drummond did not reveal his plans for next year during the season-closing press conference. Based on a recent interview it seems that the 27-year-old center would like to come back to the Los Angeles Lakers for another run.

He joined the Lakers in April as a free agent and became an unrestricted free agent again as his deal with the Purple and Gold has expired.

“Playing alongside LeBron James is a different ball game,” Drummond said on lakersalldayeveryday, per R.P. Salao of ClutchPoints. “It’s every kid’s dream to play with the best player in the world. … This is an incredible time in my career to play with LeBron James instead of against him … Hopefully, things go the right way, and we’ll try to run it back again.”

There were rumors that in case Drummond wanted to remain a Laker he would have to accept a veteran minimum offer or one of the team’s available exceptions.

Last season Drummond averaged 11.9 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for Los Angeles.
