Real Madrid are close to making Thomas Heurtel’s signing official, after the French guard went through medical exams on Friday, according to Marca (hat tip to Eurohoops).
The former FC Barcelona player is expected to ink a one-year contract with an option for one more season. After spending four seasons with Barcelona, the veteran guard played for ASVEL.
He was an important part of ASVEL’s season after joining the team in February. He played 24 games with the French side, averaging 14.6 points and 6.2 assists per game in the Jeep Elite.
With Heurtel, the ‘Whites’ are also close to reaching a deal with Nigel Williams-Goss and Guerschon Yabusele, who are also expected to become part of Real Madrid this offseason.
