Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is expected to miss Game 5 against the Utah Jazz tonight with a knee injury he suffered in Game 4, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst and Ramona Shelburne.

His status for the rest of the series will be in doubt as well.

Leonard told his teammates last night to prepare for him to be out, Windhorst also notes.

The 29-year-old landed awkwardly on a drive to the basket in the fourth quarter and grimaced in pain.

He briefly stayed in the game, but didn’t finish the last couple minutes as the Clippers secured the win to even the series 2-2.

After the game, Leonard initially told reporters that he would be “good” going forward.

The Clippers confirmed that Leonard has been diagnosed with a right knee sprain and there is no timetable for his return.

Paul George will now handle even more of the load on offense and players like Marcus Morris (24 points in Game 4) and Nicolas Batum will be relied upon even more.
