Becky Hammon and Chauncey Billups are among the strong candidates to take over the Portland Trail Blazers next season.

As Shams Charania of The Athletic reports, Hammons and Billups lead the race, with Mike D’Antoni (currently a Nets assistant coach) also in the mix.

The Blazers were forced to part ways with Terry Stotts after nine years, following an early playoff exit vs the Denver Nuggets.

For her part, Hammon (a Spurs assistant coach) has also been linked to the Orlando Magic head coaching job and is expected to interview for the position.
