Czech Republic has named an 18-man preliminary squad for their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Victoria, Canada.
The list includes Chicago Bulls guard Tomas Satoransky and nine other players from their FIBA World Cup 2019 team that finished sixth.
Jan Vesely was included in the preliminary list, as a knee injury kept him out of the World Cup.
Czech Republic also named 21-year-old forward Jan Zidek to the list.
Zidek, who plays at Pepperdine University, is the son of former NBA center Jiri “George” Zidek.

Czech Republic will first play two exhibition games against Finland on June 12 and June 13.
In the Olympic Qualifying Tournament, Czech Republic will take on Turkey on June 30 and Uruguay on July 1, while Group A consists of Canada, Greece and China.
The winner of the tournament will advance to the Tokyo Olympics.
