FC Barcelona star point-guard Nick Calathes left the EuroLeague Final-4 semifinal vs. Olimpia Milano early in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury.
FC Barcelona head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius offered an update on the condition of his starting point guard as the Catalans are heading in their first EuroLeague Final in 11 years.
Jasikevicius called Calathes a game-time decision, as Barcelona announced. Barca will face Anadolu Efes in the EuroLeague championship game on Sunday.
Barcelona was able to prevail in a close-fought battle against Olimpia Milano on Friday thanks to Cory Higgins’ shot with 0.8 remaining for the end of regulation.
