The star of the Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum was unstoppable during the play-in game against the Washington Wizards as he scored 50 points which helped his team gain the victory and progress to the playoffs.

After the game, he was asked whether he entered a superstar level after dropping 50 points. “I don’t know,” he said, per Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

“I guess it helps. I don’t really get caught up in those who think I’m a superstar and those that don’t. What does that really mean? I know that my teammates, I’ve earned their respect. I’ve earned the respect of the guys I’ve played against and the coaches. I believe in myself, and that’s all that matters.”

This season, the 23-year-old forward is averaging 26.4 points, 7.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists. He became an All-Star for the second time this year.
