FC Barcelona is expected to offer young prospect Sergi Martinez a three-year extension, Eurohoops reports. The Catalans want to extend their partnership with Martinez until 2024.

The 22-year-old forward was established as a first team option for Barcelona this season, after spending his first five years of his professional career with the club’s development team.

Martinez appeared in 26 EuroLeague games this season averaging 1.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per contest. He is also a rotational piece for the Catalans in the ACB League posting averages of 3.7 points and 3.0 rebounds through 16 games.

Martinez will participate in his first EuroLeague Final-4 as FC Barcelona will try to win the trophy for the first time since 2010.

EuroLeague Final-4 will take place on Cologne, Germany on May 28-30. Barcelona will face Olimpia Milano in the semifinal.
