Recently, Alex Rodriguez went on to acquire 50% percent stake of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Lakers’ legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to react to the news.
Rodriguez and a group of investors bought the Timberwolves for a reported $1.5 billion, It was reported by Shams Charania that it will be a 50/50 purchase between Rodriguez and Marc Lore.
Johnson has his own share of experience as an owner as he possesses stakes in both the Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Sparks.
Rodriguez will try to bring success to the Twin Cities with Minnesota, as the T-Wolves made the postseason once since the 2003-04 season.
