Anthony Davis sent a reassuring message to the Los Angeles Lakers fans with his response to a question about LeBron James’ injury. The four-time NBA champion was sidelined just two games into his return for an ankle injury that kept him out of action for six weeks.
However, Davis is confident that James will be okay. “He’ll be fine, trust me,” he said after the win over the Phoenix Suns. “He’s been in this game long enough. Obviously, haven’t missed a ton of games but he’s been in this league long enough to be able to come back and lock in and do what he got to do to help the team.”
This season, LeBron is averaging 25 points, 7.9 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game for the reigning NBA champions. He played 43 out of 68 Lakers’ games.
