Frank Vogel shared his thoughts on the first start of Ben McLemore with the Los Angeles Lakers.

McLemore replaced Kentavious Caldwell-Pope in the Lakers’ starting lineup, who was out with a right ankle sprain.

“Frank Vogel says Ben McLemore filled in for KCP “admirably” tonight in his first start for the Lakers. He had a team-high 20 points tonight,” Ryan Ward of Lakers Nation reports.

Ben McLemore played very well offensively and was the top scorer of the Lakers with 20 points (7/12 shooting, 6/10 from beyond the arc).
