Jayson Tatum exploded with 44 points, helping the Boston Celtics defeat the Golden State Warriors 119-114. His team was missing Jaylen Brown but still were able to get the win.
After the game, Draymond Green praised Tatum for his performance. “Incredible. That was a big boy performance by him,” the three-time NBA champion said.
“Especially missing Jaylen Brown. He stepped up and put those guys on his back. But yeah, my sub’s still better though.”
The win pushed Boston among the top four teams in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Dubs hang on the Play-In Tournament spot as they sit in the ninth place in the West.
