Victor Oladipo left the game between the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Lakers early in the fourth quarter after suffering an apparent knee injury.
Oladipo went through an X-ray that came back negative after he left the floor. The guard had 18 points, four rebounds and three steals in 25 minutes before exiting.
He is expected to have an MRI Friday to evaluate further the situation. The Heat are veteran guard’s third team this season.
He began the season with the Pacers before being traded to Houston as part of the James Harden deal before being shipped again by the Rockets.
With Oladipo out of Erik Spoelstra’s lineup, Kendrick Nunn is expected to receive a bump in his minutes. Despite Oladipo’s injury, Miami secured a huge win 110-104 over the Lakers Thurday.
