Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has signed a 10-day contract with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.

It was recently reported on April 2 that the Trail Blazers planned on signing Hollis-Jefferson to a 10-day deal, so this move was expected.

The Trail Blazers had two open roster spots and needed to sign at least one player to meet the NBA’s required minimum of 14 players.

Hollis-Jefferson spent training camp with the Minnesota Timberwolves before being waived back in December.

The 26-year-old has not played in the NBA this season after playing 60 games (six starts) for the Toronto Raptors last season.

In those 60 games, Hollis-Jefferson averaged 7.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game in 18.7 minutes per game.

Hollis-Jefferson will wear No. 2 for the Trail Blazers, the team announced.
