Anthony Davis is still out with a calf strain as he has not played for the Los Angeles Lakers the last seven weeks. At the top of that, the Lakers still not have a clear return date for their superstar big.
Prior to the blowout loss to the Clippers, the Lakers’ head coach Frank Vogel claimed that Davis is still ways out from a potential return for his team.
“AD continues to ramp up but is still a ways away,” Vogel claimed, per Silverscreen and roll. After Sunday’s loss, the Lakers dropped at the fifth place of the Western Conference.
With several injuries being on play for their roster, as LeBron James and Andre Drummond are also out without a return date on place, the Lakers are trying to remain afloat in the tough West.
The LA franchise lost six of the last nine games since James’ injury on the game vs. the Hawks on March 20th.
