Draymond Green was a part of the Golden State Warriors that dominated the NBA for several years. Now, due to injuries, he is adjusting to being a member of a team that is fighting for a playoff spot and it does not excite him.

“Fighting for a play-in spot does not motivate me,” the three-time NBA champion said after the Warriors lost to the Heat, per Anthony Slater.

“We’re in what — 10th?…Nah. I want to win every game I play in because I hate losing. That shit really bothers me. That’s what motivates me. Not fighting for some play-in spot.”

This season, Green is averaging 6.1 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game for Golden State which occupies the 10th place in the Western Conference with 23 wins and 25 losses.
